Kenya: Sh40 Million Children's Rescue Centre for Kisumu West

The government has set aside Sh40 million for the construction of a children's rescue centre in Kisumu West District. Gender, Children and Social Development PS James Nyikal said yesterday the centre will be complete in the next one year. Nyikal said the centre will have dormitories for girls and boys. He was speaking at Ober Ojowi in Kombewa Division when he laid a foundation stone for the centre.
